so sweet, Thanks Rachel and Ahilim!

Arte Y Pico

Ahilim gave me this award a couple of weeks ago and I forgot about it, thanks buddy and Rachael was nice enough to pick me for this award also so I'm passing it on!

Ingredients:
1 pad of ink
1 rubber stamp (clear stamp may be used as substitute)
1 piece of paper

Directions:
Place piece of paper on solid surface. Take rubber stamp and dab it on the ink pad - making sure it is coated well. Press the stamp - ink side down - on piece of paper - but don't let go of the stamp. Lift the stamp straight up off the paper and set aside. When ink has completely dried, decorate as desired. Take picture of finished product and post it on your favorite website. This recipe serves 1,000's!

Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh!!! Blog candy below, keep scrolling!

I won, I won I won!!!! Everyone knows that Gina K is the most generous and fabulous person and she is always giving something away. Well I won the not yet released "King of the grill" set. I could not be more grateful or excited!! Thanks so much Gina!!! Visit Gina K.'s blog for more chances to win, see some awesome tutorials and be inspired by her!

I don't usually share too much personal information, but what makes this really so great is that I am out of work on disability. I thought I would be back before I had to take a pay cut, but the doctor just told me I will be out until at least summer, so I spent all day going through my retired stamp sets and checking eBay to see how much they are going for and I was really kinda bummed, but I guess I can live without them! Especially now that I have this awesome new set to play with.

Must be an early birthday present!! I really can't even tell you how much she made my day! Gina K. rocks.

I joined her Copic marker club at the end of last year and will never regret it, The markers are awesome, a great price and they come right to your door once a month. It's too exciting because you're not sure what colors you will get, I just love the anticipation. I think she has another one starting soon, if you're thinking about it I would definitely recommend it!! There is no one better to do business with!!!

Thanks again Gina!!!!!!!! Big hugs to you!!!

I will be listing the retired stamp sets on my blog in the next few days. I have tons of them!! So stop back and don't forget to scroll and scroll for blog candy from myself and others!!!!

Friends like you are hard to find, and blog candy Scroll down!!!

I made this card for the Featured Stamper Challenge on Splitcoast (FS62). It was a cold dreary day here yesterday and started out with snow, so it was very difficult to get a good picture! The sentiment reads: Friends like you are hard to find, which was computer generated and I think it's perfect for this adorable image!! It is much cuter IRL! Don't you just love these Gruffies. I only made this one, but would love to send this to several friends I made on SCS, so you may be seeing more! Thanks for looking and scroll down for blog candy!
Stamps: Gruffies, Finding Friendship
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, and Purple?, Animal print DP
Ink: Copics and Prismacolor Pencils
Accessories: Ribbon, Computer Generated Sentiment, Crystal Effects on magnifying glass!

and now onto the blog candy! I promised this at 2,000 hits and I am up over 3,000 hits, so I figured I better get on the ball. I have been having some health issues that cause me not to be able to do any one thing for two long. So I haven't been able t make as many cards or leave as many comments. If I am n the computer too long, stamp too long, or stay in any one position I suffer the pain later. Well any way here it is: Friends and Flowers simply scrappin' kit perfect for anyone who scrapbooks or makes cards, Papertrey Inc.'s Year Round Puns and two boxes of ribbon, pink and blue with three rolls in each!

To be eligible to win, please leave a comment on this post and tell me where you buy your favorite embellishments! Please let others know about this blog candy as well and Thanks for stopping by!!
All entries must be made by noon Monday, April 21st! My birthday and a present for you!

Cameron's card for his Aunt Linda

Cameron made this card for his Great Aunt Linda today. She is in a nursing home and recently sent him a letter telling him how much misses him. They are crazy about each other and he asks about her all the time. We haven't been able to visit in a while since I have been sick, but hopefully we will be able to get there soon. He also made her a skate board dude, but he wouldn't scan. Dude is his favorite word this year, last year everything was Sweeeeet!
Cameron said to tell Aunt Patti that he challenges her to make a card like this one. If you don't have this image, then you can use any other cowboy, but the colors have to be the same.

Beary Big Yawn

I needed a card for a baby shower tomorrow and I haven't felt much like stamping, so this is what I came up with. I love these Gruffies!! Not sure I like the way the ribbons are, but I already made the wholes so they stay!! I put this on the top of the gift bag in a clear envelope and when she opened it she ooohed and ahhhed, she thought it was a picture for the babies room. She went through the rest of the gifts in the bag and said who is this from there's no card! LOL! I wouldn't be surprised to see it hanging in the babies room. Thanks for looking and hope you like it!!
Stamps: Beary Big Yawn, Cuddles and Tickles
Paper: whisper white, Pink Passion
Ink: Prismacolor Pencils and gamsol
Accessories: May Arts Ribbon, Nesties, Swiss Dots and K Marcella Rhinestones

TSBC6

Here are the rules for TSBC #6

The main colors are brown and red, your choice of shades, must use a truck on it, (preferably loads of love if you have it) and use at least one piece of hardware, it can be a brad or anything. Ribbon is optional.

The little dalmatian up in the corner is a brad!

This card kicked my butt and I swear everything but the road and the truck was done before I saw Shirt's card. Unfortunately hers is a lot cuter!! I am not a scene maker that's for sure!!

Most of the coloring was done with sponges and the lines on the road are ribbon! I guess the intention was apple trees where the apples have fallen all over the ground and Cam says the dog in the corner is taking a leak on the tree. He can say whatever he wants since he saved the day and gave it to me. TFL!

Stamps: Loads of love, Loads of Love accessories, Lovely as a Tree Paper: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Whisper white

You can see Shirley's card here!
You can see Pat's card here!
and you can see Helen's (the newest twisted sistahs) card here!
our friend Anne opted out of this challenge and Pat and I are the Slacker Sisters because we didn't post on time!!!
