TSBC#12

I haven't been stamping much or sleeping well, but each week I have to do the challenge with my twisted sistahs no matter what. I have along list of things that I need to get done, so I am going to try to overcome the pain and get them done this weekend! It will be a total miracle, since I have no mojo nor any ambition!

This week's rules were created by misshelenstamps:

A standard sized card
Must use Ribbon
Must use some kind if punch
All must be black & white

I really thought this would be harder for me using just black and white, but once I was able to stamp the Flourishes Damask stamp, it went pretty easily from there. I'm actually pretty happy with the way it turned out! But I'm sure I'll get buzzed!

This looks so much better IRL, don't you hate that. I need to go take photography lessons. Thanks for looking and I'd love to know what you think!

Stamps: Flourishes Damask, Inkadinkadoo
Paper: Black and white
Ink: Black
Accessories: Sandylion essentials, SU organdy ribbon black, Punches hole and Ticket corner, Nestabilities

Ink: Copics
Accessories: 3 pronged piercer (not sure you can see up up the length of the card, ribbon, punches, flower, rhinestone (which id green, not sure why it looks yellow!) Queen & Co. Beadifuls for bracelet!

For my Mom

The Rules by wannabcre8tive:

The colors for the challenge card for this week will be rose red, black and white. It must be floral, can be made with any size card. It has to have some sort of circle on it. It can be a big circle, little circle, half circle, 1/4 circle or what ever you choose.

I didn't have a stamp block that was the right size for the CHF backgrounder, so I tried to use the plate from my big kick, but it may have been a bit too skinny and it didn't stamp great, but I still think this is a beautiful stamp, perfect for this challenge and for Mother's Day!

This card measures 5 1/4 x 6 1/4. I don't really like the ribbons, but felt like something was needed there. There are gemstones on the swirls around the Mother's Day Sentiment. The scallops are made with full circles and there are gemstones in between each of them. TFL!! Hope you like, Mom did, but that's how Mom's are and then she read the inside and cried! That's when you know you wrote something good. She actually used to go to the store and read the cards till she cried and then she knew that was the one. So that's what's really Important.

I also bought her some stamps from HM. It was my first time ordering from there and I would definitely recommend doing business with Dick, he is awesome. I was so impressed with the low prices, quick responses and fast shipping. Then he sent me an awesome follow-up e-mail welcoming me as a customer. The best service I ever had. I also e-mailed him again the morning and received a response very quickly! Here's the web site:http://www.hmstamps.com/index.htm

Happy Mother's Day!! There was no time limit, so I'm not even late!!!

Stamps: CHF backgrounder Shady Daisy, All Holidays
Paper: rose red, black and white
Ink: rose red, black
Accessories: ribbon, bling circle punch!

My Star of the Week!

What a great Mother's Day present Cameron was chosen as star of the week at Good Morning Program. I was so proud he has been working so hard so he can go to Build-a-Bear. He writes beautifully when he wants to problem is he usually doesn't want to and when he doesn't want to do something he doesn't! He is very stubborn like his father. So when his report card came home last week everything was great especially Math he is a whiz, but not writing or gym. So I promised him if he improved in writing by the end of the year I would take him to Build-A-Bear. You ought to see the beautiful papers that have been coming home.

We are working on gym too, as you can see he is in the chubby stage, so I'm sure that makes it difficult for him. But we are exercising together and hopefully he will improve, but he doesn't have much interest in all that, he's more the artsy type, loves to draw and create things.

There was no getting a smile out of him in front of all those people, he can be very shy. But once you get to know him he'll make you laugh till you pee!! I sure love him to pieces and hope he stays on the right track!

Happy Mother's Day

RAK from Donna (Serenity in Stamping)

I received this beautiful card in the mail today from Donna, it totally made my day. The colors are so lovely and the card opens where the pink paper is.
If you have not checked out Donna's Blog: http://stampamaniac.blogspot.com/ you must, she is soooo creative and her projects are all really wonderful, I go back everyday!

I actually purchased this exact stamp because of Donna and I was thinking it would be perfect for Mother's Day, but I just realized I don't have an acrylic block big enough! I wonder how fast I can get one?You must check out CHF and especially their wonderful collection of backgrounders. I want them all. Oh and great news I just heard that they have 10 Retired Backgrounders now on CLEARANCE! Check them out! I'm going to!

Sunday's FS65

I always say better late than never. I never could crank out cards, but it's been even worse lately. I can only do a little bit at a time without getting sore. This didn't come out exactly as I hoped it would, but here it is! I used the exact some paper and stamp, different sentiment, Different colors and added a cherry and some pearl jewelry.

Thanks for looking!

Diplomabella for a new SCS friend!

Have you ever been so far behind you think you'll never catch up? That's how I feel. I have absolutely no energy or Moe Joe.

I made this card for a new friend that I made on SCS, she is graduating soon and wanted to make all her own thank you's. So I sent her a bunch of images, so she should also make some cards for friends and have room for error! She seemed really sweet, so I thought I'd send her a card!

I wish I had made the card a tad bit bigger so more of the yellow rose paper would show through, but I trimmed it so the wrought iron punch would be even! I also wanted to use blue ribbon, but didn't have any that matched!

Stamps: Diplomabella
Paper: DCWV yellow roses, Night of navy, Yo-Yo Yellow
Ink: Copics
Accessories: fibers, wrought iron punch, Stickles on roses, Queen $ Co Beadifuls!
Oh and if you bought beadifuls, be careful because they are over filled and sopill all over the place!!

Thanks for looking, hope you like!
