Merry Christmas!!

Christmas will always be for us
A time to reflect on Christ
The gift God gave to all the world
Was the gift of His life
We know Christmas is not about tinsel
Nor fancy Christmas wreaths
Nor is it about all the decorations
That adorns our Christmas trees
And it’s not about Holly or Mistletoe Hanging from our doors
Nor is it about the gifts that are left By the jolly Santa Claus
Christmas is more than all of this
And the only reason why We celebrate Christ’s birth together
And the wonder of His life
So remember as you celebrate Just what it’s all about
And invite the Lord to join with you
Instead of leaving Him out
For He will always be the reason
We celebrate this day
No substitute the world may offer
Can take that meaning away

Season's Tweetings

I've been so busy making cards etc... that I haven't even taken pictures of or posted most of them. I just brought all my stuff to the post office and still have 3 cards to make, one of which has to be mailed. So, I'm late again this year, but closer than usual. I guess I should have mailed them as I got them done, but just kept stacking things up!!
I'm sorry to be so far behind in commenting, but as soon as the pandemonium stops, I'll be sure to catch up!I had to show you this DeNami stamp because I am so in love with them lately!! The closer it gets to Christmas, the simpler the cards got!! I used Gina K's 120 lb. Luxury paper and yay the Copics do not run through!! Very exciting!!
I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, or whatever else you may or may not celebrate!!
Hugs to you all you!! I'm so very grateful for the friends that I have made through Blogging and SCS!! Each and everyone of you have made my days brighter!!

Christmas card for my DH ~ Not for Children

First I have to say that I received this image from Theresa. If you haven't been to her blog you are missing a whole lot of creativity and beauty!! Check it out here:
Thanks so much for the images and the gorgeous card that accompanied them Theresa!! Had you told me how hard this was to cut out I don't think I would have attempted it, but I wasn't going to waste my image!!
Hey Buckle Man, this is a man's card in the true sense, I used my exacto knife!! Aren't you proud!!
I needed a Christmas card for my DH, when it was completed it didn't look very Christmassy, so I gave him a red nose and tried to trace the word Christmas in Red Stickles. Well now it looks like Rudolph's head is mounted on the wall, which I'm sure my husband will love. My son liked it, but I don't think he thought of it the same way I did!!

Stamps: Unity and SU
Paper: Creamy Caramel and Basic Black
Ink: Black, More Mustard, and Kooh-i-noor pencils
Accessories: black dew drops, stickles, crystal effects, fun flock and hemp twine

Gramma called to say....

I don't have any stamps that I can use to make Brittany a card. I tend to wonder about that, but since she wasn't feeling well, I agreed to make one for her!! I think it's pretty cool!! I wish that I had put some Ric-Rac on the cottom too and maybe done a different color scalloped circle, but I love the rest!!!!!! I hope she did too! Today was her 18th birthday and she went straight to the tattoo parlor. She said she was getting stars on her lower back!!

Stamps: Little Tees and The Little Paper Shop
Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White, Rusty Pickle DP
Ink: Copics
Accessories: Doodle Bug Ric-Rac, Rain Dots, Glossy Accents

The Twisted Sistah's are back!!

The challenge was to make a Christmas card, using pink, white and one other color of your choice! Must have ribbon on the card and at least one other embellishment!! This is my second card, the one I cheated on, so many others cheated, I didn't want to be considered a goody two shoes!! I'm really happy with how this came out!! My hands were shaking so bad, I don't know how I colored this. There are teeny tiny parts!! I said a lot of foul words and need forgiveness!!

Stamps: DeNami
Paper: DSP, Pink Passion, Green Galore
Ink: Prismacolor Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits
Accessories: Corner Punch from Gina K., Ribbon Glossy Accents, and Dew Drops
I really like the simplicity of this, but I couldn't get that sentiment to stamp right to save my life and it did not want to photograph either!! I wanted to sew on this card, but I cannot sew a straight line, HELP!!!

Stamps: Sentiment from DeNami, BG from Stampin Place, I think
Paper: Doodlebug Sugared, Green Galore, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Ink: Pink Pirouette
Accessories: Snowflake, Organdy Ribbon, and Pop Dots
