More CRAK's

CRAK from Anne Ryan:
Anne is just the sweetest, always leaving encouraging words and sending me this cute card! The letters in the red circle mean good health and I can sure use some!! Anne, Thank you for all your guidance and prayers!! Love and Hugs to you!
CRAK from Pat and Bubba Smethers:
Isn't this just filled with the Spirit of Christmas and it is so gorgeous!! Bubba is smoking with that Exacto Knife that he used to cut this out!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you've been to me over the last year!! I know God sent you to me when I needed you most and you have made me laugh, cry, and love you so much!! Hugs!!
CRAK from my Mom:
This card is absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't pick up the gorgeous sparkle in the tree. It is so much more IRL and actually looks like it is lit up!!! I love the nested frame and the MS snowflake punch too!! Mom, I love you more than I can possibly say! I see or talk to you every day, but I still missyou when we are apart!! I was so blessed to be born to you and don't know what I would ever do without you!! Thanks for everything throughout my life and especially for being so encouraging and caring over the last year!!

CRAK for Cameron from Gramma:
My mom made cards for all 12 grandchildren and all six of us plus many, many more!
She even personalized them with their names, isn't that sweet! Cameron loves his Gramma so much and is totally excited whenever she makes him a card!! This fat little Santa is too cute and we love the reindeer flying overhead too!!
This CRAK is also for Cameron from his Great Aunt JoAnn:
She has quite the coleection of stamps and things, but has not done much with them muttering and complaining that she doesn't know how or can't do this or that. Well lookie here: Proof that she can and she should make some more cards!! Isn't this the sweetest! I love the DP and it is colored perfectly. Also, their is glitter on the white part of the cap that doesn't show up too well in the picture, but IRL it totally sparkles and Cameron loved it, so thanks very much!!
This CRAK is from her (Auntie JoAnn, my mom's sister) also:
Looks like she is on a roll now!! I love all the cute little snowmen. My only concern here Auntie is where this fourth snowman comes in!! It had better be my mother!! I love the colors and the sparkle!! Hope it's all over your house like it is mine!! Thanks so much, I love it and can't wait to see more!!! Repeat after me, Yes I can make fabulous cards!! Love ya!!
I feel so blessed to have received so many one of a kind originals created just for our family!
Better than any gift one could ever receive, LOVE!!

Merry Christmas!!

Christmas will always be for us
A time to reflect on Christ
The gift God gave to all the world
Was the gift of His life
We know Christmas is not about tinsel
Nor fancy Christmas wreaths
Nor is it about all the decorations
That adorns our Christmas trees
And it’s not about Holly or Mistletoe Hanging from our doors
Nor is it about the gifts that are left By the jolly Santa Claus
Christmas is more than all of this
And the only reason why We celebrate Christ’s birth together
And the wonder of His life
So remember as you celebrate Just what it’s all about
And invite the Lord to join with you
Instead of leaving Him out
For He will always be the reason
We celebrate this day
No substitute the world may offer
Can take that meaning away

Christmas card for my DH ~ Not for Children

First I have to say that I received this image from Theresa. If you haven't been to her blog you are missing a whole lot of creativity and beauty!! Check it out here: http://craftingtheweb.blogspot.com/
Thanks so much for the images and the gorgeous card that accompanied them Theresa!! Had you told me how hard this was to cut out I don't think I would have attempted it, but I wasn't going to waste my image!!
Hey Buckle Man, this is a man's card in the true sense, I used my exacto knife!! Aren't you proud!!
I needed a Christmas card for my DH, when it was completed it didn't look very Christmassy, so I gave him a red nose and tried to trace the word Christmas in Red Stickles. Well now it looks like Rudolph's head is mounted on the wall, which I'm sure my husband will love. My son liked it, but I don't think he thought of it the same way I did!!

Stamps: Unity and SU
Paper: Creamy Caramel and Basic Black
Ink: Black, More Mustard, and Kooh-i-noor pencils
Accessories: black dew drops, stickles, crystal effects, fun flock and hemp twine
Thanks for Stopping By!

The Twisted Sistah's are back!!

The challenge was to make a Christmas card, using pink, white and one other color of your choice! Must have ribbon on the card and at least one other embellishment!! This is my second card, the one I cheated on, so many others cheated, I didn't want to be considered a goody two shoes!! I'm really happy with how this came out!! My hands were shaking so bad, I don't know how I colored this. There are teeny tiny parts!! I said a lot of foul words and need forgiveness!!

Stamps: DeNami
Paper: DSP, Pink Passion, Green Galore
Ink: Prismacolor Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits
Accessories: Corner Punch from Gina K., Ribbon Glossy Accents, and Dew Drops
I really like the simplicity of this, but I couldn't get that sentiment to stamp right to save my life and it did not want to photograph either!! I wanted to sew on this card, but I cannot sew a straight line, HELP!!!

Stamps: Sentiment from DeNami, BG from Stampin Place, I think
Paper: Doodlebug Sugared, Green Galore, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Ink: Pink Pirouette

The challenge, just create a card using chipboard on your card in some way by Friday night 7 p.m. (central time). If you own any stamps by Gina K Designs, be sure to use them on your card! I made some changes adding the blue ribbon and the blue gem, but I'm still not crazy about this card, but I do love this stamp!! I probably would have started a few days ago if I didn't have to cut them! Can you believe I have about 15 sets from Gina K. that I haven't cut!! Her design team is so awesome and they make you love and want them all!! So who wants to cut them?? Hahaha!

Hugs and Kisses and Merry Christmas Wishes!

Cameron and I bought this stamp at Sweetheart Stamps the other day. It is by Inky Antics and the Hugs and Wishes stamp is from the Stampin' Up set called All Holidays. The white paper is done with a cuttlebug embossing folder called Snowflakes and the Green Paper is by DCWV. I purchased the ribbon from Jacksonbelle. Just realized I didn't do anything with the ball on his hat, ooops! Will fix that and maybe add some glitter or something to that and the band.

Stamps: Inky Antics, Stampin' Up
Paper: DCWV, White, Green Galore, Pretty in Pink
Ink: Green Galore & Pretty in Pink

I had the worst afternoon, my Internet stopped working and I've been trying to get it fixed for about 4 hours, finally it's working! I am so sick of computers and Internet Providers (screaming), but I can't live w/o it!

Thanks for stopping by, just one month til Christmas. Hope Santa brings me lots of cool stamps and stuff!

2nd Attempt

This is my second attempt with the new markers. The light blue on this one came out better because I used Bashful Blue and the Aqua Painter. Still not loving the ribbon and the scalloped square could be just a tad bigger.

What do you think? I think they are going to need a home, but that will need to wait till tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by! I have had lots of visitors, but nobody's talking to me. Talk to me people! Getting close to 1,000 hits, may do some blog candy if I hear from you. Feels like I'm talkin' to myself here.

Good Night! Come Again!

Prismacolor Markers!

I had to leave my truck at Carbone's to get the converter replaced today, so my mom let me borrow her truck to get to work (thanks Mom). Well it sucked that I had to work, but after, we went to Michaels and Sweetheart stamps in Rome. I love Sweetheart stamps, they have the cutest stamps around and they are sooooooooooo friggin' nice! We missed the sale they had last week, but she gave it to me anyway (see what I mean, thus the name)! So I got some really cute new stamps and will hopefully be able to start my Christmas cards.

The samples they have at the are too stinkin' cute and they are colored so beautifully!!! Last time I was there, I was talking to her about Copic markers, which I have been dying for, and she told me that PrismaColor also makes a similar marker. I couldn't find them at AC Moore as she suggested, but Michaels has them. They cost $189.00 for 48 of them, so even at 50% off that's $90.00, so I figured I would try a couple first and maybe someone will be nice enough to buy them for me for Christmas, LOL!

This is my very first image that I colored with them and it didn't come out too bad except for the blue, it looked a lot lighter on the pen. Well after I started it was too late and then I tried to make it better, but it just got worse. Anywhooo, I was going to throw it away, but Cameron asked me to make a card for him with it, so I did. Afterall, this stamp was purchased for him. We are going to make little cards for his classmates and hang them on candy canes.

Papers are Wild Wasabi (since it was already on the table), Real Red, and White. The white is done with the cuttlebug embossing folder and the wasabi with Marvy square scallop punch. The ribbon is from Michaels and doesn't look great on here, but it was the one Cameron picked. The stamp is Framed Snowman by Hero Arts. It is a 3x3 card.

After we went shopping, the night got even better (difficult I know), when I picked up my truck they had cleaned it inside and out. It was filthy and now it smells like new. I can't believe it, how nice of them! Especially since the repairs were free!

Thanks for stopping by!
