Get Well Soon

I'm really on a roll now. Here is another one! If I keep this up, I should be ready for anything and not have to rush around at the last minute to make a card. I think this mouse is just too cute. Hope you like it!!

Bessie gets her Belly Button Pierced!!

LOL! I just love this stamp and the more I looked at it the more I thought she was beggin' for her belly button to be pierced. Who am I to deny Bessie! I love Penny Black stamps, do any of you have any that you would like to trade images of for images of Bessie? That way we don't all have to buy the stamp! Let me know if you are interested and I can provide more information. Well thanks for looking!!

Be Yourself!!!

I don't know who I can send this card to that wouldn't take it the wrong way, but I couldn't resist this cow stamp, as it is so Stinkin' Cute and I think the sentiment goes perfectly! The colors didn't scan to well the paper is pink passion. I wanted to add more, but everything just looked like overkill, so I left it simple. Guess What else??? The new catalog is in!!!! I think there is a lot of cute stuff in it, but it is a smaller catalog. Bet ya can't wait to take a peek! I'm a little off on my one card per day, started this one last night and finished it today. Try to get back on track tomorrow and since it's Friday (yeah!!!) maybe even get a few extra done over the weekend.

Happy Bird-Day

This is a sneak peak of something in the upcoming catalog, which i know you are all as anxious to see as I am. Nothing yet, but I was able to pre-order a few sets and colors, which came yesterday. If the pre-order items are an indication of whats to come then I think you all will be very happy. This didn't scan well; it appears a bit blurry, must be user error because I can't seem to get them right. The flowered background paper is not from Stampin' Up, but everything else is. I am in a paper faze and loving the designer papers, but I still have some difficulty using them, so mostly I just collect them. These birds are from a set called Zoofari and the circle was made with the new Giga scallop punch, I then punched holes all around it. The border on the side is made with the slit punch and I also punched smaller holes in each of those. The color on the center ribbon is groovy guava, which was made by dragging a piece of white ribbon over the stamp pad. I think this ribbon should have been better wider, but it was all I had in white. All-in-all, I think it's pretty cute. I really like these funky little birds. I'll try to give you another sneak peak tomorrow. Good Night!!

More Rockabella!!

Here is another Bella! This background was also made with Distress Ink. I'm not sure I like the flower where I put it, but it's too late now...there's a huge hole underneath it. I bought these flowers yesterday. They are white and made out of paper so you can ink them and Michael's had the flower brads on clearance for .97 (what a deal!) for 12 of them. There are 3 colors per package. Oh well! I love these Bellas!

You Rock!!

The colors in this card didn't scan that well. I used old olive and only orange card stock and markers. The guitar has glitter on it and the background was made with my new Distress Ink pads. It didn't come out like the one that I made at the store, but probably because the white card stock was smooth and the one we used at the store was textured and soaked up the ink, this one didn't. I was going to throw it away, but then I remembered this Bella stamp that I had and it was perfect for it. Tie on a piece of fun fir and wah la! I hope you like it, it does look better in person. I told you this site was going to be good for me. I'm on a roll now, never made so much stuff in one week. More to come!!

Made by Cameron

Cameron was so excited when he came home and saw my blog, he had to make something immediately that he insisted we put on. After he finished his projects he took this picture and I must say that he did better than me. There is a tank, a gum ball machine and a "squirt bean". I'm not sure what a "squirt bean" is but it has a tail, which squirts poison. He is very creative!

3x3 Cards

h

How are you coming along with your 3x3 cards. Let me know when you are finished and we can have a get together.

You can also make a box to keep your cards in. Mine aren't finished, but I included the picture anyway. Here are the instructions:

For the box: 7-3/4" x 6" cardstock, score on the 7-3/4" side at 1-1/4" on both sides, score on the 6" side at 3-1/4 and 4-1/2 (cut wit
scissors on these score lines up to the intersecting 1-1/4" score.

For the top: 3-1/4 x 3-1/2 cardstock or patterned paper, score on 3-1/2" side at 1-1/2" and 2-3/4", adhere 1/2 flap to the backside of the box, and corner round front of flap if desired.

I sewed a button on the front with ribbon, but you could use anything you want to hold the flap down.

Here are a few pictures of mine. They are nothing special, just plain and simple, but may give you some ideas. In the one picture it shows different ways to make a card with the same materials, sorry one of them got hidden in the back, but takes forever to upload the pictures and even then they are pretty crappy!

Come on get a move on...I can't wait to see all of your creations.

I'm thinking this might have inspired me to make a lot more stuff. It's fun and I'll have someone to share it with.

I'm off to Wal-Mart to buy a scanner and if you don't check my blog often, you'll hurt my feelings!

Cameron's Kindergarten Graduation

Well it wasn't really a graduation just an awards ceremony, but none the less I am so proud of him. He worked hard this year and did a wonderful job!YAY !!! One of my friends from work got pictures of her little boy in cap and gown and I am so jealous!!! I did however, get pictures of Cameron withGramma and Grampa, which are twice as precious!!!

The card with the little mouse was made by my mother, yep you read it right. She has been a 3x3 card making machine and they are very, very cute. Look at this, she even put brads on for buttons. WOW! Amazing Job, when I saw it, i wanted to steal it! And she said she couldn't do it!!!

I made him this card, which came out OK. I'm glad because Frankie's colors are the same and don't be surprised if he gets the same exact card, so don't show Gina.

I wish I had thought to take some pictures of the gifts that we sent to his teacher and teachers aide, but sorry too late I delivered them this morning. For Mrs. Jones I made a card box with an address book and filled it with cards from the $ store. It would have taken me a year to make them all and these were pretty cute. For Mrs. Palmer I made a checkbook cover, decorated a Crystal Light container and filled it with Werther's and butterscotch candy, and a candle. Now you're all mad, huh?

Pictures aren't very good, hard with a camera. I need a new scanner, anyone wanna buy me one?

My New Blog

So what do you think of my new blog? I'm feeling pretty proud that I was able to create it! Still a work in progress though and probably will be for a long time to come.

I thought this would be a neat way to share my projects with you (if I ever make any) and you can leave comments. I am also thinking about posting weekly challenges, what do you think are you up to it? Come on stop moaning and groaning, we have spent lots of money on this stuff and we need to use it!!

I've made some changes to my scrap room (some of you have already seen them) and I love the way it looks, but now I can't find anything! LOL! Whoever said organization is key was wrong.

Don't forget to order any retiring items by June 30th!! That's also the last day to order before the price increase goes in to effect.
