Too batty??

Hi another quick card! I fell in love with this image the moment I saw it! They had free shipping at Bella, so I needed it badly!! I may have overdone it with the Martha Stewart bats, but it needed something!! I thinkI'll make a few more with this little cutie and I love the sentiment!
The background is CB'd with the Web folder, but it doesn't show up very well in the picture!

Stamps: Bella, Stampendous
Paper: Basic Black and K&Co.
Ink: Prismacolor Pencils & Gamsol
Accessories: Martha Stewart Bat, Ribbon, Circle punches, CB
Thanks for Looking!!

Diplomabella for a new SCS friend!

Have you ever been so far behind you think you'll never catch up? That's how I feel. I have absolutely no energy or Moe Joe.

I made this card for a new friend that I made on SCS, she is graduating soon and wanted to make all her own thank you's. So I sent her a bunch of images, so she should also make some cards for friends and have room for error! She seemed really sweet, so I thought I'd send her a card!

I wish I had made the card a tad bit bigger so more of the yellow rose paper would show through, but I trimmed it so the wrought iron punch would be even! I also wanted to use blue ribbon, but didn't have any that matched!

Stamps: Diplomabella
Paper: DCWV yellow roses, Night of navy, Yo-Yo Yellow
Ink: Copics
Accessories: fibers, wrought iron punch, Stickles on roses, Queen $ Co Beadifuls!
Oh and if you bought beadifuls, be careful because they are over filled and sopill all over the place!!

Thanks for looking, hope you like!

Eloise by Stampingbella

This is one of the new chichiboulie stamps from Stampingbella. Wow I just went there and they have more new adorable stamps!! These places are killing me!! There is always something new coming out that I want so badly, how does a girl keep up. and you just have too see the new flowers and crystals too!!! I want, I want, I want, stamps make me feel like a little kid!!
I made this card for "K" (see previous post) and the Limited Supplies Challenge on SCS. The challenge was to make a card tool free. I thought tool free that's not so tough, I hardly ever use tools! Yeah right, wow couldn't believe how many things I wanted to use and couldn't!! This paper is really pretty, but you can't really see it in the photo. I need way more practice with copics, but even though I don't have a clue about shading they are still fabulous!! Isn't she just the cutest!!

Stamps: Eloise by StampingBella
Paper: K&CO and Green Galore
Ink: Copics
Accessories: Ribbon, Baubles and Gina K bling and dazzle plastic tags

You're Da Bomb!

Just using up the last of this DP, hope I have another sheet, I really love it! The flowers are Petaloo and the little silver tag says fun! You can't see it in the picture, but there is black ribbon with white polka dots around the top of the can. I think these are called tea tins and they from from PaperTrey. Everything on the card is from the scrap pile!

New Copics

Stamps: Daisyboardabella
Paper: Brushed Copper, Random Dark Purple from LSS
Ink: Copics, Twinklette
Accessories: Ribbon from Jacksonbelle, it is really gorgeous, but looks bad in this picture! It is coppery on the edge and has deep purple in the center! Crystal effects on the snowboard ,Fun Flock, Sparkling Ice Glitter
___________________________________________________________________

Stamps: Snowbunnybella, All in a Row, Genuine Articles
Paper: Basic Grey Blush, Romance and Eternity
Ink: Copics
Accessories: Fun Flock, Jumbo eyelets

I joined the Copic Marker club at Gina K.'s and just got them in the mail the other day, I've seen some people make some fabulous cards with these, but they are not magical in my hands (maybe with some practice, but I don't have that artistic ability). I still love them though!! These are the first two cards that I made with them. They are plain, but Bella carries her own! The one with the snowboard was first and the circle at the top is a mirror with snowflakes stamped on it. I received it from a stamping friend and she has challenged me to use them. I also stamped "Chill" on it. This one was easy, but need to use more of them on the next one. I don't have any ideas right now! The photo of this card stinks, but couldn't get a better one! She got the circles from Starbucks. They had some holiday decorations made with them and she asked if she could have them.

Another card w/ a cute butt!

This scan is horrendous, the card is actually white, so you can imagine how faded out the other colors are. I used to be this skinny ( a long, long time ago), but I never had a butt this cute. Tall people get robbed of butts!!

This is another of my new Bella's that I bought myself for Christmas, don't you just love buying yourself gifts. I've never really been this bad before, usually concentrate on everyone else. This year I just kept buying stuff for myself. Wherever I went, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, clothes, purse, stamps. I don't know what was wrong with me!! Then I even kept some of the things that I bought for others, bad...very bad! I know what I like though!! It's so hard to buy for everyone else, people have sooooo much now a days.

Like I said in earlier posts, I attended the Gina K reveal on Splitcoast the other night. It was a trip, the people are hilarious, the pace exhausting and the new sets that were revealed were awesome. I wanted them all, but held myself in check! My poor credit card!! Gina K is an awesome person, she has these tremendous give aways on her blog and she has stamps for a cause where so much of the proceeds from the sale of a designated set will go to a charity. This time it was diabetes and last time autism. She also started a Copic Marker club, so that we could all enjoy the benefits and not pay the shot all at once. I joined and can't wait to get them, hope I can use them.

Anyhoo... There were two sketch challenges for the reveal party and the person who won them got to choose a set valued at $18.95 or less for free. I knew I wouldn't win, but wanted to play. This card was for the first sketch. I never finished the second one, but I will someday. I can never make up my mind and keep changing and changing stuff. Do you do that? I think that's why I usually wait for the last minute.

Not many supplies involved:

Stamps: Ipodabella
Paper: Only Orange, Black, Whisper White
Ink: Prismacolor pencils, Gamsol
Accessories: Ribbon, Music Note Brad, Glitter, Creative Memories Thingie (wavy trimmer?)

Thanks for stopping by!

For you with Love!

This is one of the newest Bella's, she has a slightly odd pose probably so you can see her cute little butt. Regardless, she's still too cute! I colored this with Stampin' Up watercolor wonder crayons (been a long time since I used these) and a blender pen. The pink beads are called baubles from Bella, but they also sell Robin's Nest Dew Drops. I got both for Christmas. The Dew Drops come in cute little bottles and the are multi-colored and the baubles are sold by single color without the cute little bottle. Not a great photo! Any questions about supplies, please e-mail me or leave a comment and I will let you know.

I know, I know...another Bella!

This is one of the Bella's that I got recently. I originally purchased several as Christmas presents, but I only parted with two and that's only because they were for my mother. I really would have liked to keep them too, but I felt really guilty! I LOVE Bella's!! They are so adorable, it's easy to make a cute card quick. This is definitely one of my favorites. I need a "purr-fect friend sentiment so I can make a set! Off to search, If you know where I can find one, please let me know!

My scanner needs to be cleaned, all my scans have these little imperfections there must be something on there. I saw the coolest photo box on someone's blog, but I can't remember where. The photos come out so perfect!!

Bottom:

Stamps: Kittycattabella, Hugs and wishes
Paper: MME, Green Galore, Tempting Turquoise
Ink: Prismacolor Pencils and Tempting Turquoise, Stardust Clear pen
Accessories: Ribbon, Flowers cut from DP, Fiskars embossing corner punch

Top:

Stamps: Kittycattabella, Studio G & Lexicon of Love
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Glorious Green and MME
Ink: Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol ( also need to remember where I got this, Need more!), Stardust Clear pen

I also used ribbon and stampin' dimensionals on the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by!

Here's another Bella card that I made. The scan stinks, but it's kind of cute! I love these challenges, they really get me motivated, even if I don't know who I'm making them for. I'll use them some day!

Paper: MME and Chocolate Chip (my favorite!)
Ink: Choc Chip, Close to Cocoa, More Mustard, and Blush Blossom

Brittany's 2009 Graduation card!

Continuing on the Bella challenges, I made this way early for a change. When I saw this stamp, I knew I wanted it for her, so why not get it done. Her birthday is in a couple of days and of course I haven't made that yet. I am hoping to get my new birthday stamp in time, so waiting....excuses, excuses. Hope you like it!

Stamps: Diplomabella, Small Sayings
Paper: Yo-Yo Yellow, Black and Green Galore
Ink: Yo-Yo Yellow, Black and Green Galore
Accessories: Ribbon and Stickles

Happy Birthday Bella!

This was also for the Bella Ball challenges. As you can see, once I started piercing, I just couldn't stop, there are holes everywhere. This is kind of plain, but cute! Can you tell I love Bella's. Recently ordered some new ones and can't wait for them to come!!

Stamps: Cosmobella, G Studio
Paper: Chocolate Chip and Deja Views
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Blush Blosson & Orchid Opulence
Accessories: Rhinestone Brad, Deja Views Flower, Word Window Punch
Techniques: Piercing and Piecing!

Queen for a Day!

Having lots of fun with these, but I should be getting ready for Christmas. The tree isn't up, the presents aren't bought....BAH HUMBUG. I need to get in the spirit!

This DP had a smidgen of really rust, so I sponged some more on and sponged the edges of the white. Paper pieced her outfit, again. I want to be Queen for a day, so I guess that's where my inspiration came from.

Stamps: Spabella and Studio G
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, and MME
Ink: Close to Cocoam Summer Sun, Yo=Yo Yellow and Gable Green
Accessories: Ribbon from Michael's & Scrap Essentials Brads
Techniques: Sponging/Distressing

Bella Ball Challenge #1

I can't believe I stayed up until 1:00 in the morning just to see the new Bella stamps. I've obviously got some serious issue! This card was made for the first challenge and I think I have 5 more to go! I'll never make it.

I received an elf package last week, so I'm trying two of my own together and get them sent out. I also have to stamp some images for a trade that have to get out this weekend. I still haven't made my Christmas cards, boy what do I do with my time? Wait I know, I spend it looking at what other people have made on Splitcoast and procrastinating.

I know I still owe some blog candy, working on that too!

This is a tri-fold card and the instructions can be found in the first post of the link below.

Colors are real red and bashful blue. Bella's outfit is done with paper piecing. The DP is from the Christmas Glitter Stack by DCWV. There is crystal effects on the glass. The tag is made with the Round Tab punch from Stampin' Up.

Christmas Morning Bella

This is for another challenge on Splitcoast to use a non-Christmas Bella and make a Christmas card, found here: Black Friday Bella Bonus Challenge.

This didn't turn out quite as well as I pictured it, but it does look better IRL. I wanted to use silver, but all I had was Reynold's wrap so I went for it (the edges look pretty crappy) and the sentiment (printed on my computer to match wild wasabi) looks out of place.

This is colored with the PrismaColor markers I purchased at Michael's. They are fun, just need to figure out shading!

Stamps: Grumpabella
Paper: DCWV Winter Card Stack, Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue and Reynold's Wrap
Ink: PrismaColor Markers, Bluch Blosson, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Summer Sun, and Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Wild Wasabi Double Stitched Ribbon, silver ribbon, dimensionals , and square scallop punch

Winobella - edited to fix boo-boo!

Made this card for the color challenge on SCS yesterday, the colors were Wild Wasabi, White, & Pretty in Pink! The stamp is called Winobella and it looks like I had to much too drink because the sentiment messed up. I am currently trying to figure out how I want to fix it. I will definitely add another layer, just contemplating the shape and color! I also used Baroque Motifs in the background, stamped in pretty in pink and embossed with embossing tinsel and Absolutely Fabulous, both from Stampin' Up! Other items used include: Primas, Rhinestone Brad, Wasabi double-stitched ribbon, and crystal effects. You can't see it in the scan, but I put crystal effects on the glasses and the bottle. Card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.

The challenge actually stated that it should be a Christmas card, but since I haven't learned how to read yet, I missed that part.

I really like this card, one of my favorites, hope I can fix the boo-boo! TFL

I guess the system is experiencing difficulty because I can't add the picture, hopefully later!

Gettin' old BITES!!

I made this for the latest Bella Sketch Challenge on Splitcoast. Thought this would be a cute card to give with some girly things like lotions or a spa gift certificate. Wish someone would give me one for a massage, gettin' old bites!! I hurt so much today, I could barely get out of bed!

Well enough about me. The background is by DCVW from the All Dressed Up Mat Pack, gotta love them. Other Paper: Basic Black and Pretty in Pink. By now you know this stamp is from StampingBella and the Enjoy Your Day is from a set called Riveting by Stampin' Up. The colors are: Blush Blossom, Apricot Appeal, and Basic Black. The polka dot ribbon was purchased at Jacksonbelle Embellishments.

Well TFL and hope you like it!

You Rock!

Thanks for checking my blog over the weekend. Sorry that I didn't post anything, but:
  • Friday night I ended up watching Spiderman 3 with Jim and Cameron
  • Saturday, I went shopping and to a few craft fairs then I helped Bev (my sister) make a recipe box. It was looking pretty awesome, but was unfinished when she took it home. It was also dark so no pictures. I am working on another one though, so maybe you can get a peek at that one.
  • Today (Sunday), I had to do laundry, go grocery shopping, run a few errands and all the other fun stuff that a wife and mother gets to do on the weekends. I did get this card done and am working on another for today's featured stamper challenge on SCS. Hopefully, I will finish it tonight.
This card is made with paper from the DCWV/RockStar Mat Pack. Other papers are mirror gold (Can you believe this stuff is a $1.99 a sheet, what a jip!), very vanilla, and close to cocoa. Both of the ribbons are from Michael's. The stamp is Rockabella from StampingBella (Have you seen the lastest additions? Kittycattabella makes me think of Bobbi, so I can't wait to order it!) I tried to make a guitar pick for the tag, which has the music notes and the sentiment, you rock! The shirt is done with paper piecing and the guitar is colored with a twinklette glitter marker. Other colors are ruby red, close to cocoa, blush blossom and chocolate chip. Rockabella is attached using stamping dimensionals, not sure you can tell in the scan. IRL, I am very happy with this card, not sure about the scan because the green looks off and you really can't see the beautiful gold touches!

Hope you had an awesome weekend! TFL

Another Bella hittin' the bottle!

Another Bella hits the bottle. I just love these Bella's! This one is called Cosmobella and she was made for another co-worker whose birthday was today. I was a little worried about the colors, but she loved it and another co-worker has now become an Addictabella! Don't you love it when you can get someone else hooked and enjoy watching them spend their money. This picture stinks, but once again I made it at night and had to give it away in the morning.

I could sure use a good stiff drink, it's been a long week! Is it just me, or do the weeks that start out shorter last longer? I can't wait for Christmas to come because I really need a vacation.

I hope to get some stampin' in this weekend. I'm going to start out by trying to catch up on some challenges and since the bella's are out might as well start out with those. Enjoy your weekend and visit me again! TFL!

Giftabella Frappuccino Bottle

This is about the 4th one of these frappuccino bottles that I have made. I am addicted to them. They are so much fun and so easy to make. I have about 40 empty bottles now, they are everywhere. I really want to try one with the case.

I don't have the rectangle scallop punch so I put two squares together behind Bella. The HB tag is hanging on a little hanger I made from a paper clip (can't really see it in the picture). The background behind the HB is also made by cutting a square scallop punch and making it smaller then it is folded in half so it looks like it is laying over the hanger. Sort of looks like a hand towel though and might work better with dryabella. I wanted to make a little outfit to hang on it, but it didn't work out.

The tag will hang more to the side, but I had to move it in for the picture.

TFL and please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions!

Fabulous Bella!!

I really love this Bella card!! Baroque Burgundy paper and ribbon is from SU. I used SU markers to color her, (Close to Cocoa for hair and Blush Blossom for skin) but her pants and shirt were done by stamping the image on the DP, cutting it out and the gluing it over the image stamped on the card. The paper piercing is done using the Mat Pack and a needle. Most everything else was purchased at LSS (Local Scrapbook Stores). TFL!
