For My Little Chunky Monkey!!

This started out as an RAK for a child who has a tumor on his brain stem with brain lesions. I thought it was a young kid, but turns out he's is 13, so back to the drawing board!!

You would not believe what a time I had with this card! This was my first time making clouds, looks like a storms a brewing, then I cut part of the leaves off the tree because I was thinking they wouldn't fit, when I should have just let them hang over, oh well maybe next time.

These are my first High Hopes stamps, but I had to go back and order some more definitely need the greenery and the snake and so on. I love when you can buy the stamps unmounted it's so much cheaper!1

Anyway have a heart and leave me a comment if you like it in the least because I worked on it most of the day. Should have thrown it in the trash hours ago!! LOL!

My friend Ahlim makes some of the most amazing cards I have ever seen. I was inspired by her to stickle the tree, wish I had more colors, I woulda gone nuts, maybe its a good thing!! You can visit her blog here: http://lim-thevoicesinmyheadlimblog.blogspot.com/

In the long run I figured I'd give it to my son, who I call monkey all the time. He may not be to happy with the "chunky" part, but he sure is getting chubby!

Thanks for looking and I hope you like it!! It's much more colorful in person, I need photography lessons!

Deb your card is great. I get those days too when "everything should go in the bin" but this one definitely shouldn't have for sure!
